We get it, FlipGive isn't for everyone. Before you delete your account, you'll need to check a few things.

BEFORE YOU DELETE YOUR ACCOUNT

  1. Make sure you are not the captain of any running teams

  2. You do not have any active team banking accounts

You'll be prompted to close/reassign ownership of the team and close your team bank account before you can delete your account successfully.

UPON DELETING YOUR ACCOUNT

  1. You will forfeit any outstanding funds in your personal account

  2. You lose access to your FlipGive wallet (all gift cards remaining in your FlipGive wallet will be erased). **Please ensure you save a copy of any gift card(s) with remaining balances).

Next, transfer any outstanding funds on a personal account to an active team and make sure you copy any gift card codes that still have a balance.

Once you're ready, simply go to "User Settings" located under the account menu on the top right navigation. Scroll to the bottom of the page and you will see a section that looks like this

User Settings FlipGive FlipGive 2022-11-03 at 12.36.48 PM
  • Under the Delete Account section, type the word "DELETE" and a delete confirmation button will appear for you to delete your account.

  • You'll be logged out of the website/app immediately, will no longer be able to log in via your email/password, and will cease to receive any emails/communications from FlipGive.

Can I reopen an account after it's been closed?

No, once your account's been closed, your data is deleted from our records. We kindly ask that you Sign Up on www.flipgive.com and create a new account. Thanks for being with us, we hope to see you soon!
