Q: What makes FlipGive Budget different from a spreadsheet?

FlipGive Budget is very similar to a spreadsheet, but with all of the math built in and way less data-entry!

Q: Is there a cost to use FlipGive Budget?

Nope - it’s absolutely free!

Q: Is my budget private? Who can access it?

Yes, your budget is private; only the captain (owner) of the team as well as anyone you assign as a co-captain can access your budget. In the event that your team is part of a club/league, they will also have access to review your budget plan and progress.

Q: How do I track transactions throughout the season?

Manually add transactions or simply link your bank account to automatically import transactions in real time. All you have to do is choose which line item they belong to!

Q: Why should I link my bank account?

Linking your bank account will allow debits and credits from your team bank account to be automatically added for your approval saving you the trouble of manual data entry. All you have to do is review your list of transactions and assign them to your budget categories, saving you a ton of time!

Q: How are player fees tracked and paid?

You can setup your player fees and it will remind each of your player families to pay you the specified amount until you've deposited their funds. In our next update we'll be adding the ability to also have them pay directly online so that funds are handled and tracked automatically!
