Recent changes to your FlipGive Personal Account
As of October 23, 2025, Personal Accounts will no longer be usable on FlipGive for users based in the United States. The purpose of this update is to ensure all US users are using Team Accounts, which will ultimately be migrated from FlipGive to RaiseRight. As a result of this change, your account will be impacted in one of two ways.
1. If you are using a Personal Account and you are not a part of any Teams.
If this applies to you, a new Team Account will be created for you automatically, and all your earnings on your Personal Account will be moved to your Team Account. The Team Account will operate just like your Personal Account, with the only difference being the account type and the option to add others to your Team Account if you wish. Otherwise, you can continue shopping and earning on your new Team Account, just like you have been with your Personal Account.
2. If you are using a Personal Account and you are a part of at least one Team.
If this applies to you, you will have the option to choose which Team you want to transfer your Personal Account earnings to. If you don't want to move your Personal Account earnings to any of the existing teams you are part of, you can request to create a new Team Account with just yourself, and your earnings will then be transferred to it. FAQs
Why do I need to change to a team?
RaiseRight acquired FlipGive (read more here), and we’ll be working to migrate all U.S. teams over to RaiseRight in the coming months. With this transition, FlipGive members will be able to earn more through higher gives, more brands, and more ways to earn. The first step in this process is to ensure that every FlipGiver has a team to continue earning and access their funds.
How does this change impact how I use FlipGive?
Your team account will operate just like your Personal Account. You will still have access to your gift card wallet and all the features you normally use when shopping on FlipGive. If you have any pending earnings, these will still apply.
Will I lose the funds I had earned on my Personal Account?
No. Your funds will still be tied to your account within the team. This will allow you to continue earning and combine funds for your team to request a payout if the total funds are $100 or more.
What if I don't move my Personal Account to a team before November 7?
You have the option to choose which team you want to transfer your Personal Account earnings to. If you don't take action before November 7, we will automatically create a separate team account for you. This new team account will then operate just like your Personal Account, with the only difference being the name of the account.
What if I don't want to join one of my existing teams?
If you don't want to move your Personal Account earnings to any of the existing teams you are a part of, you can request to create a new team account that your earnings will then be transferred to. To create a new team account, please get in touch with us at [email protected] so we can set it up for you. If you don't take any action, we will automatically create a separate team account for you on November 7.
