Before I go straight into the answer, it's important to note how your purchases get tracked through FlipGive. The main reason why it's crucial to start your shopping on your FlipGive team through the web or the app, is so we can link your visit from us to our retailers. On a monthly cadence (may vary depending on brand), retailers pull reports of their sales and if that tracking does not exist, FlipGive cannot provide proof that the customer/purchase came from us. 

That being said, if a purchase was made without having gone through FlipGive, FlipGive does not accept receipts to issue cash back. Alternatively, some customers will make a return, and repurchase the same item by properly going through their FlipGive team store to earn cash back.
