This is a common question we receive from users who are looking to sign up their non-for-profit organization team on FlipGive.com

FlipGive is a cash back program. As such, any earnings are considered a 'discount'. Since a discount isn't taxable, there's no need to keep track of all your cash back to prepare your tax return.

The only instance it becomes a taxable income file is for any cash prizes for contests. This is considered a taxable award or prize meaning you can't treat it as a discount and you will have to report the entire amount on your tax return.
