How to add Esso eGift cards in the Esso and Mobil App

If you're experiencing issues redeeming your Esso eGift card from your FlipGive Wallet, you can redeem your eGift card by adding it to the Esso and Mobil app.

Downloading the Esso App & Account Setup

  1. Visit the App Store (iOS devices) or Google Play store (Android devices) and search for the Esso and Mobil App.

  2. Install and open the app. Follow the prompts to either Sign up with email and create a new account, or Sign in if you already have an account.

Adding your eGift Card to the app

  1. Once you're signed in to the app, select the More option from the navigation menu in the bottom-right corner.
  2. Select Wallet.
  3. Select the Add Payment option at the bottom of the screen.
  4. Select Gift Card and enter the gift card number and PIN, which can be found in your FlipGive Wallet.
  5. Once the card details are added, select Add. A confirmation message will appear on screen, and you can now use the gift card as payment when paying at the pump.

Using the eGift card at the pump

  1. When visiting an Esso gas station, stand in front of a pump and the launch the Esso and Mobile app.
  2. The app will prompt you to select your current location, then select the Pay at Pump button.
  3. Enter the Pump Number, which can be found on the pump itself, usually in the top right corner.
  4. When prompted to select a payment method, choose your gift card.
  5. Proceed with following on-screen instructions and fill up your car as normal. When you are finished, the cost will automatically be deducted off your gift card.
